Being a long advocate for suicide prevention and youth mental health after personal experiences, Joshua is working to ensure better mental health policies and awareness around suicide and youth mental health. Joshua started the YMHM Canada in 2020 looking to raise awareness and push government action for mental health. Joshua sits on the National Youth Advisory Council of the Mood Disorders Society of Canada, the National Initiative for Eating Disorders, and works as a National Youth Groundbreaker with Frayme. Ethan is a business student at Wilfrid Laurier University, and the previous founder of Ynteract, a youth mental health organization. He is passionate about raising awareness around mental health for all youth.

I am a 4th-year student studying Criminology and Public Administration and Law at York University. Being an advocate for mental health, disability, and inclusivity has been a highlight of my experiences at York, and hope to continue to grow my experiences at YHMH and aid in advocating for the mental health of youth. 

Hey everyone, my name is Harveen Saini. I graduated from the University of Calgary in 2022 with a BSc in Kinesiology, a minor in Psychology, and an Embedded Certificate in Leadership Studies. I'm starting my MPH at McMaster in Fall and I'm super excited about the move! I spend most of my time working and volunteering with children who teach me something new every day (young minds are brilliant). I would describe myself as a community advocate whose focus is on education and empowering individuals. I love listening to music and making dance routines in my head. I grew up participating in dance spaces and now you can find me dancing in my room in the middle of the night. I enjoy trying new cuisines and discovering new taste palettes but I LOVE my parent's food (I have 2 chefs in my house!!!). I'm a summer person so you will always find me exploring the city, going on adventures, and taking LOONG walks.
